Easter Trail

Join us during the Easter Holidays for a fun filled Easter and Springtime Trail!

For £7.50 per child (under 1's and adults come in for free!), the children will receive a fun activity sheet to complete, access to our outdoor play area and a small chocolate and sticker at the end! The children will need to find 14 information boards dotted around our play area, front garden and Black Shed Flower Farm to complete the activity sheet.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS EVENT IS NOT IN THE MAIZE MAZE AS THE CORN HAS NOT YET GROWN AND IS CURRENTLY JUST A MUDDY FIELD!

If you are an Annual Pass Member, the price of the Easter Trail will only be £2.50 for the children named on the pass.

This Easter trail is suitable for children between the ages of 2 and 10 years old. 

The usual price of £5 per child applies for the Orchard Play Area if they do not want to participate in the Trail.

Our Café will also be open serving delicious homemade treats, brunches and lunches.

• Café: 9:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Saturday. Bank Holiday Monday: 10am to 3pm

Easter Trail Fun 🐰

• Do I need to book in advance?

  Tickets for the Trail and the Orchard Play Area are only available on the door on the day.

  Please note that it can get busy and if the car park is full, then we are at capacity.

• Can we bring a picnic?

  We fully understand that it can be expensive to feed a family, particularly when out and about. But we kindly ask that you only consume food bought from our café when visiting us.

  Supporting our café helps us to provide these events.

• When is the Easter Trail?

  The Easter Trail will be available from Saturday 30th March to Saturday 13th April, except on Sundays when we are closed. Bank Holiday Monday we are open from 10am to 4pm and the Café closes at 3pm.

• Is there an age restriction?

  This Easter Trail and Playground are best suited for children between the ages of 2 and 10 years old.

  Please note that this is an unsupervised playground and all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

• Is Blackmarsh Farm open on Sundays

  We are closed on Sundays.

• Can we see any animals at the farm?

  What a lovely idea, but unfortunately our girls (the cows) are busy working, eating and milking. The working side of the farm itself is not safe for the public to be in. You may see the girls grazing in the fields, or walking between sheds. Give them a wave!

  You will be able to meet the Hens though, who live in the Orchard, they are surprisingly friendly, we just ask that you don’t touch or feed them.

• Can we bring our dog?

  Yes! Well-behaved dogs on leads are always welcome in the shop, café and patio area (just not in the Play Area!) We even have some treats for your pooch behind the till and fresh water available for them!

• What happens in inclement weather?

  Bring the wellies and waterproofs and have a fabulous time!

  There are no reductions/discounts available in poor weather. We reserves the right to close the play area or cancel events in exceptional circumstances.
